TOKYO At his favorite neighborhood cafe, Shunsuke Yamagata, a college
student who proudly calls himself a nerd, smiled shyly behind his
horn-rimmed glasses at waitresses hurrying about in black Minnie Mouse
shoes and lacy, racy mini-dresses inspired by Japanese comics.
