Yeah it's that whole Illuminati deal. I found that years ago, fell in love
with Taylor Caldwell's book Captains and the Kings as a kid, it's worth a
read. Now I meditate a lot cause if I think about it much it makes me
crazy. All I can do is vote and try to get everyone I know to do it also,
even though the offerings are generally not people I want but which one is
least noxious.
One of my teachers said that the US is like the Roman Empire and I
can't help watching with interest and making comparisons. (shrug)

The US political scene is the PERFECT CYCLE OF PARTY LIFE...
BOTH parties are answerable to the .5 percent richest people in the
US. It is important that the common person thinks there is a
difference in the parties...here is the life cycle:
Bottom line...make the rich richer...
Start with any party...say Republicans (reps)...they are in
office...they spend a lot...A LOT on defense and other
non-common-people programs...they run up a frickin' amazing
bill...tax cuts that are for the rich...then the people THINK hey
stop that...they vote in the Democrats (demos)...they promise stuff
for the common person...well...they have to up taxes to pay for the
programs they implement AND TO COVER the reps programs/expenses...the
reps start saying...SEE THE DEMOS raised your taxes...the public gets
disillusioned again...vote the reps back in and the cycle repeats
itself with only the RICH getting richer all the time.
THAT is the pool Americans swim in...both sides piss in it but the
typical American not only has no clue...most of those that CAN
VOTE...DON'T vote...they don't register...then those that do a LARGE
percentage don't go to the polls.
