The Tube map, the red telephone box, Doctor Who and English weather are among
21 new "icons of England".
They also include roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, Winnie the Pooh, and the
stiff upper lip.
It is the fourth set of cultural treasures to be announced by the online
Government-backed Icons project.
