When we lived at Pt Mugu, California, which is just north of Malibu, we had
a back yard full of blue gum eucalyptus, the huge tall ones. One had a nest
of great horned owls. One morning we woke to discover the trees had turned
orange.they were covered with migrating monarch butterflies! At the time I
did not know these tiny creatures migrated, especially in such huge groups.
They stayed 3 days, resting I suppose, and then were on their way. This
video reminds me of butterflies! Thank you Bill!

Video Description
One hundred six balloons in a mass ascension at the Reno Balloon Race. Can
you see where the cow jumped over the moon? This was shot with a Canon S3
using GBTimelapse and a Canon Pro1 running in continuous mode. The master
copy of this video is in 1920x1080 HD mode - if only there were a way for
you to see it in hi-def...
