Yay! Go native! Watch all the great critters!
Now I miss my garden back in Melbourne.
Cheers,
Katherine
During the fires here they began advertising a fake lawn, it looks real but
it's some synthetic thing. Looks so real you can't tell much too, and they
continue to advertise heavily. It's a favorite in football stadiums
apparently.
We are in a water shortage and food prices have got people planting
things, it's kind of fun to watch for this confirmed organic gardener. First
big garden I had was the entire back yard, I miss my garden too. People are
not eating tomatoes unless home grown now with the big salmonella scare.
Amazing they can't seem to figure out what is causing it or where it is
coming from, really makes me wonder about the food supply.

RMIT just put a whole lot of fake turf down on their lawns in the city to
save huge amounts of water. I'm pretty happy about it. It looks ok and I went
and had a jump up and down on it - nice and springy :-)
