Every so often I will crack out one of the sillier recipes my mother passed on
to me just to amuse friends at a dinner party. The woman in the below articles
is engaging with the best and the worst of 1950s cooking. Some of the dishes
are hilariously awful. Some are surprisingly good. A number take me back to my
