"A new camera-trapping study in India has revealed that leopards can occur at
high densities in densely-populated and heavily-modified agricultural
environments. Despite the high density of leopards there are no reports of
human fatalities in the study area."

It's interesting that the leopards are able to adapt so well to human developed
areas. And very lucky for them. Other species that manage well in developed
areas like rats, pigeons, cats, dogs etc. are not threatened, while animals
that don't cope well with human encroachment are in trouble.
