A reminder that Kickstarter pledges are investments - but arguably a good way
to practice investment skills, if you keep the pledges small.

With the exception of the Humble Bundles I've pretty much stopped buying retail
games now because I'd rather support the production of new games that I'm
interested in. Even if some of the games don't get completed or turn out to be
a disappointment, I still feel that funding increased diversity in the industry
is a better use of my money.
