"The backstory is this: a woman was walking down the street when a
motorcycle cop approached her, asked her if she lived in the area and if
she would talk to him. She says his approach made her feel
uncomfortable, so she refused and continued on her way."
Sometimes police are also rapists. The police in Whitehouse, Texas seem
to have some difficulty understanding that. Police need regular
training to understand how they are perceived by the community and how
to gain and retain the trust and respect of their community.
Unfortunately in many places they are very far from having that trust
and respect and in some cases continuing to head in the wrong direction.
