"Jeff Vogel’s been writing games, by himself, mostly in his basement,
for longer than most people have been playing: 22 games in the past 22
years. The most recent, the role-playing game Avernum 2, just published
last month."

Good interview with Jeff Vogel from Spiderweb Software.  He jokes about
it, but I commend him for continuing to remake his older games with
updated graphics.  Games are also artworks that deserve to be preserved
for later generations to enjoy.  They are not only difficult to run once
technology has moved on from the original platform but also, in the case
of roleplaying games which contain an interactive story, difficult for
new players to enjoy when the ancient graphics distracts modern
audiences from the story.

Share and enjoy,
