blocking of pirated software) — it would also be bricking certain paid-for
software. Two early — and much-hated — forms of DRM just simply didn't play
nice with the new operating system: SecuROM and Safedisc."
Just one of the reasons why many of us had strong objections to Safedisc and
SecuROM right from the start. The only hope is that someone like GOG.com
manages to get permission to re-release these games with the DRM removed.
