disproportionate response and a flouting of the type of discretion federal
prosecutors claim they apply when pursuing CFAA violations."

The lesson is: never assist US companies with security weaknesses. Always
publish your discoveries anonymously (assuming you're well intentioned - people
who aren't will just sell the information.) "Shooting the messenger" is a very
real risk.
