who have admitted to me that, at times, it's quite tempting to give up and join
the other side, since patent trolling is fairly easy and incredibly lucrative.
You just have to sell your soul and give up the idea that you're doing anything
productive or good in the world, and instead become a pure bottom feeder."
Software patents in particular do substantially more harm than good, though
they are not the only patents being abused in this way.
