"Inequities in wealth and income are one of the biggest social, economic
and political challenges of our time. It’s important to address these
inequities for three key reasons."

All of these issues are bad enough in Australia, but far worse elsewhere
(for example the US).

Via Muse, who wrote:

"This article is equally relevant to those experiencing depression due
to the stresses of unemployment, underemployment, or even
over-employment. If you cannot think about anything beyond survival,
life can be pretty bleak. This will impact both physical and mental
health. One answer is to get more politically engaged in ensuring
everyone's welfare, not just a select group."
