"It costs the state government more to keep a person chronically homeless than
it costs to provide permanent supportive housing to end homelessness, our
recent research shows."

It's cheaper to provide public housing for everyone who needs it than to leave
them on the streets.  Not only is it the right thing to do, it's also the right
way to save taxpayer dollars.  Please make sure your elected representatives
are aware of this.
