"Mr. Wong died on Friday at 106. A Hollywood studio artist, painter,
printmaker, calligrapher, greeting-card illustrator and, in later years,
maker of fantastical kites, he was one of the most celebrated
Chinese-American artists of the 20th century."
A great artist who in reent years finally gained some of the recognition
he so richly deserves.
Via Laura Gibbs and then Kee Hinckley, who wrote: "An amazing story of
history, immigration, and the Chinese artist behind Bambi."
Share and enjoy,
