Cute story! Kudos to the management of Optus and their outsourced
support provider for realising that sometimes it's OK to have occasional
exceptions to company policy. As a customer, it's incredibly annoying to
deal with someone who rushes you off a call to preserve their statistics
without actually helping you. This is the opposite of that, which is
good customer service.
