Last Saturday morning I went to On the Perch Aviaries in Kalaru NSW
which is a really excellent bird sanctuary with over 90 different
species, most of which you can interact with and hand-feed!

The first few of these peacocks arrived on their own and made a nest in
the carpark shortly after they opened the sanctuary! They're now welcome
free-roaming guests. We had a delicious morning tea in their cafe.
Highly recommended, especially for bird lovers.
