17 Years After Being Convicted of a Grisly Murder in Vegas, Kirstin Lobato Sees Her Charges Dismissed

instead focused their investigation on 18-year-old Lobato, based solely
on a third-hand rumor."

Abuse of power. Everyone in the system is heavily invested in covering
for each other. At least Lobato is finally free, though she'll never get
back the 17 years of her life.
