"What is the Anglosphere? The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines it as
“the countries of the world in which the English language and cultural
values predominate”, clearly referring to Britain, the United States,
Canada, Australia and New Zealand. A surprisingly recent term, it was
coined by the science-fiction writer Neal Stephenson in his 1995 novel
The Diamond Age, and then picked up by a number of conservative
commentators."
