Last week we went to see the Australian film 2040. It was a little
simplistic and over-optimistic, but given that it’s intended to be
hopeful and inspirational and is aimed partly at school children that’s
perfectly reasonable. It’s very well produced with some really nice
special effects in the imagined future sequences. Highly recommended,
especially as an antidote to solastalgia.

The film currently has 100% on Rotten Tomatoes and I hope it gets
worldwide distribution.
