"Chinatown's Shark Fin House, one of Melbourne’s most loved restaurants,
has been forced to close after customer numbers collapsed over
coronavirus fears.
Co-owner Gabriel Chan said people had been scared to come to the venue,
a favoured lunch spot for politicians, businesspeople and celebrities
for over 30 years.
Mr Chan wept when describing how he was forced to close the doors on
Sunday on the restaurant that he co-founded in 1989.
He said its customer numbers had dropped by 80 per cent and more than 40
staff and 10 casuals have been laid off."
Please support your local Chinese businesses.
Cheers,
