"Pangolins are in the middle of a poaching and trafficking crisis. We
must take action to end the illegal trade of pangolin products.
Over one million pangolins were lost to poaching in a decade. And 2019
seizures of pangolins and their products worldwide indicate that this
number may be much higher. According to Challender, et.al (2020), an
estimated 195,000 pangolins were trafficked in 2019 for their scales.
They are the most trafficked mammals in the world, and they're headed
toward extinction if we don't come together to save them. We must act
quickly to protect pangolins from illegal trade—and we need your help."
