For how many strips can I stretch out the journey up a flight of stairs?

This strip's gag hinges on Millie's apparently genuine question in the final panel. Sometimes Millie annoys people on purpose, and revels in it; at other times, though, it's just that she lives in her own world. Like the mental worlds of most children, hers has a narrator.
