1995

Author, Surf's Up: Internet Australian Style, Reed Books, Melbourne, Victoria Australia. Upon release this book sold out in the first two weeks and has had two reprints and overseas sales. The book included a CD-ROM of Web sites to explore. April 1996 a New Zealand edition was released and also sold out in the first couple of weeks. In relationship to the book and Glass Wings I was interviewed by MSN-NBC US national radio show, Between the Lines (TV), Beyond 2000 (TV), ABC radio numerous times, Radio Australia, 3AW, The Age newspaper, The Australian newspaper, Business Review Weekly magazine, Financial Review newspaper, Australian Way magazine, Time magazine and more.

Studied privately with Sam Green (poet), Charles Johnson (novelist, screenwriter, 1990 American National Book Award winner, PEN/Faulkner award winner, MacArthur Foundation genius grant recipient, Guggenheim fellow; former student of John Gardner, author of Grendel), Joanna Russ (several time Hugo and Nebula award winning short story and novel writer, former student of Nabokov) Lois Hudson (novelist, awarded an honorary doctor of letters degree for her contributions to American literature and her distinguished career as an educator), and Jack Dann (author, editor, Nebula award winner).
