ABOUT JANET LILLIE

Janet has been working as a home economist and food stylist for many years, running her own culinary services business for the past 2 decades.

Her client list includes a host of advertising agencies, design groups, film companies, public relations organisations, food appliance and marketing companies, government corporations and publishers; undertaking many creative, diverse and practical projects on their behalf.

Travelling to discover the world's cuisines and changing trends in food is of vital interest to Janet.

She is a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals, which includes a Photographer's and Food Stylist's Section, and Janet ensures she attends the Association's conferences held in the US annually. This helps her keep in touch with other culinary and creative arts professionals from across the globe, staying abreast of changes, development and trends.

Janet has previously headed up the Australian Dairy Corporation Dairy Foods Advisory Bureau. She was responsible for administration, staff and directing a wide range of programs on a national basis from advertising and public relations campaigns through to education and nutrition projects.

During this time she represented the Australian Dairy Corporation overseas, travelling extensively to visit both dairy and government organisations globally, in particular Japan and Asia. One of her greatest pleasures at this time was the promotion and presentation of dairy food based cooking demonstrations in Schools nationally as well as at trade and consumer food exhibitions in Tokyo and Osaka.

With a background in Home Economics and Hotel Management, Janet undertook her initial training both here and overseas.
