"One of my great-grandfathers came here a little later than the others, in
1912. He was a violin and cello maker, and first opened shop in San Francisco.
After WWI, he moved to Seattle and opened a new shop, then eventually settled
in Idaho where he found the woods he needed to make his finest instruments."
