"ROME — Pope Francis has called in a new documentary for the creation of
civil union laws, giving his clearest support to date for the rights of
same-sex couples while breaking from the official teaching of the Roman
Catholic Church."

who’ve been caught between their nature and their faith, this is a
red-letter day. “They’re children of God and have a right to a family.
Nobody should be thrown out or be made miserable because of it.”"
