"It’s always men who come into my comments to tell me that women aren’t
interested in tech — never women.
They like to tell me — a woman — that not having an interest in tech or being
unwilling “to do the work,” is why there are so few women in this space.
And there is truth in that.
Today, women are no longer interested in working in the tech space. But it’s
not for the reasons these men think.
Women are just as capable mathematicians, programmers or engineers. And no,
there's no genetic difference between men and women that makes women less
interested in science, tech, engineering or math (STEM).
It’s toxic men and systemic barriers stopping women from working in tech."
