"Australian electrical engineering firm Ampcontrol has launched a new MegaWatt
Charger that it says will be capable of charging anything from light passenger
vehicles to electric haul dump trucks and trains.

Launched at The Electric Mine 2024 exhibition held in Perth, Ampcontrol’s
MegaWatt Charger is designed to support the electrification of the mining
industry as it seeks to electrify its fleets, assets, and whole of site
operations.

The MegaWatt Charger is able to charge at up to powers of one megawatt,
delivering up to 500kW through a standard CCS2 plug and up to 1MW through the
RADOX MCS1500 plug.

Multiple vehicle types to be charged by a single unit. This means that anything
from a light passenger vehicle to large machines like electric haul dump
trucks, trains, and buses can be charged."
