"2025 saw unprecedented regressions in disease prevention and truly disastrous
rollbacks of public health – in many countries, though this pivotal catastrophe
is wholly led by the United States. We will endure repercussions and losses for
the foreseeable future. We have every right to be angry about the health and
science progress stolen from us, as well as the health and welfare of our
communities and families, now, and for future generations.
Under US leadership’s decimation of the CDC, HHS, FDA, and USAID, disease
surveillance has collapsed and outbreaks are not being detected or monitored.
The American vaccine ecosystem has been dismantled, both physically and
ideologically. Responsibility for 2025’s preventable deaths and the many more
to come (worldwide, with no USAID) lie firmly at the feet of Trump, RFK Jr,
Macro Rubio – and Elon Musk, who implemented the destruction of a global public
health system (USAID) that was arguably more crucial than the WHO. He laughed
while he did it."
