Very inadequate for sealing ships

This strip, is, of course, from a longer story I did in early 2002 about a school play. But I think it's pretty funny on its own.

Polyvinyl caulk was in fact invented by Elmer Wiggin, at least according to my slapdash internet research. Bertha, and all events described, are my own embellishments.
