Looking at a bug

Sometimes you just can't think of a punchline.
And you need a strip. And you want the strip to have some reason for being other than just to fill space. So the next best thing is to try and draw well. Or to pick something that you know you can draw that will be visually interesting.
Usually writing supports art, not the other way around, but if you can write a halfway decent one or two panels of dialogue to go with some distinctive art, sometimes that works too.
