I admit it. I did stay up reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix when it came out. All 870 pages.

Though in fairness to me, I was partly just worried that my flatmate Kristy, who had already finished, was going to spoil the ending.

Since this strip ran, at least one doctor has begun to observe a curious phenomenon in some kids: Harry-Potter-reading-induced headaches. Still, even given that hazard, I'm all for anything that gets kids to read an 870-page tome.
