Finally, someone's parents may be intolerant for the above reasons. Because they wish to protect their children from all danger whether it is real or imagined, they will teach their children to fear and dislike certain people. These children may not understand the reasons for this fear and dislike, but may be taught that it is right and they are good children for doing so. This is intolerance by education, and is particularly sad, since in this way fears are being spread rather than resolved.
