Stories Make the Future
I run workshops on storytelling for a better future. In particular I ran one such workshop for the Jane Goodall Roots & Shoots program in Melbourne.
In 2020 during the Victorian COVID lockdown I put together a series of four YouTube videos for young adult writers about how stories are an important part of how we imagine and create the future. This was the first time I had done anything quite like this.
I was planning on continuing this with helpful ways on how my viewers could actually write Earth-mending fiction. However, I found myself helping the Nillumbik Council hold online game days for teens. Also important!
I decided to write a middle-grade novel (now complete!), and come back to something like this series at a future date.
