"There are less than 6,000 tigers still living in the wild worldwide —
most of them in South Asia and disappearing fast due the encroachment
and poachers — and I have this strange, if unreasonable, feeling that
when the last one goes, maybe so will I."

And the tiger is just one threatened species during this Great
