Great article!

The same applies to the My Little Pony fandom, which is arguably a
branch or variant of the furry fandom, and to a certain degree also
other fandoms.  But apart from the inevitable minority of specific
individuals, the bronies and furries in particular are among the kindest
and most accepting communities I've seen.
