"The Rocky Mountain Institute just published an insightful deep dive
into the economics of self-driving cars, entitled Peak Car Ownership. It
presents granular data on the drivers of the shift to autonomy in a way
that is immediately understandable."

The way people buy and use cars is likely to change quite soon.  Not
covered in this article is the way that will start to impact city
planning due to reduced use of roads and especially car parking spaces
as percentage utilisation of vehicles goes up.  Via Antony Barry.
