No one is as irrational as those who think themselves perfectly rational.

Neuroscience and psychiatry show us that we are not exactly the people we
think we are, that our thought processes are plagued by evolved traits that
sabotage rational thought. And these findings apply equally to
neuroscientists and psychiatrists.

We cannot be perfectly rational.

We can, however, avoid being complete and utter assholes.
