"The pop-up store off Carnaby Street has been set up by the charity Help
Refugees and invites visitors to “shop your heart out, leave with
nothing, and feel the love”. Shoppers can buy a range of items for
refugees, including sleeping bags, emergency blankets and solar lamps."

Via Muse, who wrote: "Thank you Kim Asher for passing this on! What a
fabulous idea! Generally speaking it is often more useful to just give
people and non-profits money. However, that is a very abstract act. We
don't feel like we have done much and we certainly don't feel a
connection with the people we want to help. This sort of shop returns
the empathy and the humanity to giving!"

Share and enjoy,
