"Nearly six in 10 countries are seriously restricting people’s freedoms,
according to a new report that warns of a growing repression around the
world."

Via Muse, who wrote: "Human rights (most especially civil rights),
environmental rights, and economic rights are all deeply intertwined.
This is because they are all tied up by people who are using control of
people and resources as a way to dominate. The world is at the brink of
deep transitions. If these transitions do not happen, we can expect the
end of civilisation and much of this planet. This strikes fear in the
hearts of those who are using the tools of our current civilisation to
stay in power."
