"Some of Western Australia's most vulnerable but "utterly unique" native
flowers are at risk of being wiped out — but they can be saved by
citizen botanists in their own backyards.

That's the view of the Curtin University botanist Professor Kingsley
Dixon, who said the plants, which were easily propagated, could be saved
from extinction if enough green-thumbed Australians chose to plant them
in their own gardens."
