"For actor Woody Harrelson, it’s the Covid safety protocols and not the deadly
and disabling disease itself that threatens the future of indie films. Covid
prevention measures on set, he told press, are unfair to everyone beneath him.
“I don’t have to wear the mask. Why should they,” he said. “Because I can get
out of wearing a mask. I can test less. I’m not in the same position they’re
in, but it’s wrong.”
To hear A-list actor Tilda Swinton’s thoughts on the matter, the Covid safety
of others is a personal burden she refuses to carry. “I’m about to shoot a
picture in Ireland,” she said to an SXSW Film audience last week. “And I was
told to wear a mask at all times, and I’m not.” Swinton added that she is “very
healthy” after multiple Covid infections, omitting her admission to

struggle with long Covid and memory loss.
Many viewers were surprised to find out that entire movie and television
productions, especially crew, follow careful and strict Covid safety rules
behind the scenes. According to the dominant narrative of film and TV over the
past three years, Covid-19 never happened and is still not happening, despite a
global death toll of nearly seven million within three years (and counting,
plus tens of millions disabled). It’s as if Covid has had no effect on the
world whatsoever.
Everyone in Hollywood is partying — on camera, at least — like it’s 2019."
