This mostly works provided the academics are already being paid a reasonable
wage at an academic institution. This is still something of a blow to all those
academics forced to work part-time. However, it is important that people have
access to knowledge in order to push back on tech companies, who are putting it
all behind paywalls thereby making it only available to the wealthy."
