On March 6 in Osaka, Japan, Citizen Watch Co., Ltd. (Tokyo) unveiled a
mini-robot driven by a small wristwatch motor.
The two-wheeled robot — called “Eco-Be!” — is 1.8 cm wide and 2.5 cm
tall and is operated via infrared remote control.

McDonalds staff share their own recipes that can be made with the
ingredients and equipment available. Given that these are tastier than
the food on the menu, it's a shame that McDonalds will probably never
sell any of these! I must say I'm heartened that they haven't managed
to completely suppress genuine culinary creativity, though.

Chinese micro-painter Jin Yin Hua has painted an image of a giant panda
on a single human hair.
Other micro-painters include Russian artist Valeriy Dvoryanov who
creates oil paintings of famous people on poppy seeds and grains of rice.
