"Finnish electric vehicle (EV) fast-charging solutions manufacturer Kempower
recently hosted three of Europe’s biggest commercial vehicle manufacturers to
test out its megawatt charging system (MCS) in the sub-zero temperatures of
Sweden.

German commercial vehicle manufacturer Man Truck & Bus and Swedish commercial
transport solutions providers Scania and Volvo all attended the Kempower MCS
Live Winter Days held in January, though revealed only last week.

“Our aim with this event was to demonstrate that MCS is live and here to stay,”
said Antti Vuola, VP of products at Kempower.

“More importantly, we wanted to bring together the key actors in the industry
to highlight the importance of collaboration in advancing the further
deployment of MCS for heavy-duty electrification.”

The test day was held at a truck depot in Norrköping, Sweden, owned and
operated by Alfredsson Transport AB, which has been operating a fully
fossil-free fleet since 2015."
