"Senegal is investing heavily in electric public transport to tackle congestion
and pollution in its capital. The Bus Rapid Transit system in Dakar now
connects 14 communes with 121 fully electric buses powered by renewable energy.
Commute times are shorter, emissions are falling, and hundreds of new jobs have
been created. As cities around the world debate how to modernize transport,
Senegal is already moving forward."
