“Dillon Helbig has been wanting to see his work in a library since he was five.

Instead of the going down the traditional publishing route, which would have
likely taken years to pay off, the now eight-year-old simply took matters into
his own hands.

He wrote and illustrated a book, The Adventures of Dillon Helbig's Crismis by
Dillon Helbig His Self
, and then hatched a cunning ploy to get it out to an
audience.

Hiding the book close to his body, Dillon ran into his local library in Boise,
Idaho, and then placed it among other titles.

"There was a lot of librarians that I had to get past," he told US TV channel
KTVB.

"I always be sneaky, like how I get chocolate."”
